Lesson 8: Materials

This lesson introduces children to the topic of different materials such as plastic, glass, and wood. Teaching children to identify the different materials that make up the objects in their environment will enhance their understanding about the properties of these materials. Through this lesson, children will be able to relate what they’ve learned to understand why the objects that they use in their daily lives are made up of different materials.
