Lesson 13: Colour Separation Copy

All colours are obtained by the mixing of one or more of the three primary colours, which are red, blue and yellow. From this standpoint, colours themselves can therefore be separated. Through this lesson, your child will learn that some colours are made from a combination of other colours and through the colour separation experiment, your child will use blotting paper to explore and relate the concepts of primary, secondary and tertiary colours. Using this procedure, your child will also investigate the component colours of shades of the same colour.
