Write Number in Numeral and Words

• Introduce number words stage by stage.
  – one to ten (1-10)
  – eleven to twenty (11-20)
  – twenty-one to thirty (21-30)
• You can self-prepare a number word chart or write it on the whiteboard and guide the children to read together.
• Revision is important to help your students recall what they have learned in the previous lesson.
• Call out a number and invite children to write the number in numeral and in words.
• Make sure the children able to write and spell the number words correctly.
• Remind them that the spelling for 21 to 29 is with a hyphen (-) in the middle, e.g.: twenty-three.
