Let’s watch the video to learn about addition and subtraction using a number line. 

• Number Line Addition and Number Line Subtraction are another fun way to reinforce basic counting, addition and subtraction skills.
• Discuss with your child the pointer’s movement when we add and subtract. Prompt your child the change of number as the pointer moves.
• Say the numbers in random order and get your child to slide the pointer to the number on his/her number line.
• Make sure your child moves the pointer correctly. We move the pointer to the right when we add, and the number gets bigger. We move the pointer to the left when we subtract and the number gets smaller.
• Let your child practice adding and subtracting with the questions shown in the video using their number line.
