Activity 2: Procedures of Samak

  1. Teacher recites the hadith and explain the meaning to the children.
  2. Teacher/guardian prepares some soil and water. Get the children to mix both soil and water.
  3. Gives example of situations when we touched dogs or pigs.
  4. Tell the children that impurities that comes from dogs and pigs need to be purified using water and to wash for 7 times, one of them is water mixed with soil.
  5. Get the children to do a demonstration on how to do ‘samak’ (cleansing method).
