Lesson 9: Absorption Copy

When energy, liquid, or a substance is taken in or soaked up, it is said to have been absorbed and the process involved is called absorption. In this lesson, children define and classify absorbent and non- absorbent materials. Through the activities, they compare the ability of absorbent and non-absorbent materials to absorb water and reflect on the uses of absorbent and non-absorbent materials.
