Activity 2: Float in Between! Copy

Now, when your child has done the float and sink experiment, let’s do this activity!

Materials Needed

  • Test tube (from the previous experiment)
  • One-inch straw
  • Paper clips

How To Do

Let us follow the step-by-step guide for you to do this activity with your child.

  1. Ask your child to predict where the position of the straw and paper clip when he/she drops the inside the test tube. 
  2. Drop the straw inside the test tube. Let your child explains his/her observation.
  3. Drop the paper clip inside the test tube. Let your child explains his/her observation.
