Lesson 13: Heavy & Light Copy

Every object has weight that defines how heavy it is and through measurement, this weight can be compared to the weight of another object. In this lesson your child will work to operationally define the terms of heavy and light to help him/her in arranging objects based on his/her weight. Your child will explore the concept of a weighing balance and through experimenting, he/she will develop a hypothesis about the relationship between an object’s weight with its size.
