Activity 1: Colour Mixing Experiment Copy
Now, when your child is able to understand about colour mixing, let us do this activity!
Material Needed

- Test Tube
- Pipette
- Plastic Cups
- Colour Tablets (Self-Prepared)
How To Do
Let us follow the step-by-step guide for you to do this activity with your child.
- Prepare 4 plastic cups.
- Fill each cup with red, blue, and yellow coloured water. Leave 1 cup to be empty.
- Introduce the pipette to your child. Demonstrate to your child the proper way to use the pipette and allow them to model using the pipette.
- Have your child to put five drops of blue coloured water into his/her test tube. Then, add five drops of yellow coloured water into the same test tube.
- Let your child observe the colour changes in his/her test tube and name the new colour produced.
- Repeat the previous steps with other combinations of colours such as blue and red and yellow and red.
Blue + Yellow = Green



Blue + Red = Purple



Yellow + Red = Orange
