Activity : My Fingerprints Copy

Now, once your child had able to identify different body parts and explain their function, let’s do an activity with your child’s fingerprints!

Material Needed

  • Colour Inkpad (from child’s student kit)
  • Tissue (self-prepared)

How To Do

Let’s follow the step-by-step guide for you to do a hands-on activity with your child.

  1. Give each child a mini ink pad and a small piece of paper.
  2. Ask the children to press their thumb on the ink pad and then press their thumb like a stamp on the paper. (If it is too wet, lightly tap with the tissue to make it easier for the children to look at the fingerprints).
  3. Let them explore the fingerprints of their other fingers with further observations. Do they look the same?

Sharing: Evidence of Learning

Complete the assignment by sharing the evidence of your child’s learning. You can upload photos or videos of your child’s learning moments.
